We've got an awesome space and we ain't afraid to flaunt it. We're proud to announce the beginnings of French Press Fridays, where we have some drinks, throw around ideas, and just hang out. To kick things off, Junior Monster Squad (AKA kick-ass filmmakers Brennan King and Shirley Wen) presented their video for Gray Area Foundation For the Arts's first Creative Code Meetup. It will be unleashed upon the public tomorrow.
Then Peter Nowell (our designer and creator of this fine site) presented some fancy new logo ideas for French Press. I can't say much about it yet, except that the word "girth" was thrown around a lot. After that, we went over design ideas for the new space. Then we opened the bourbon, music got cranked up, and we had a good time.
Here's the deal: we're making this a regular thing. Every Friday. The best part is seeing French Press become more than just three filmmakers staring at timelines. It's growing into something we can't quite define. So come on by, have a drink, play our drumset, and pet an office dog. Whether you want to kick around some ideas or just talk about the Mighty Boosh, let's do it.
